XBOX SERIES X/S에 들어있는 엑스박스 4세대 콘트롤러의 버튼 문제가 심각한 듯하다.
게임 커뮤니티마다 4세대 엑박패드의 "버튼 씹힘 문제"가 속속 언급되고 있고 적지않은 유저들은 이미 포기한 듯 보이기도 했다.
마이크로소프트에 AS를 받고 나서도 문제가 그대로 (예 : Y버튼 씹힘으로 AS받았는데 이젠 A버튼 씹힘) 였던 사용자도 보였다.
해외에서는 마이크로소프트가 이 문제를 인지하고 대책을 마련하고 있다는 포스트도 보이는데, 반대로 이런 포스트가 마이크로소프트의 연막작전(?)일 수도 있다. 이미 전세계로 판매되어버린 콘트롤러를 어떻게 하드웨어적으로 "패치"하겠는가. 이 사태가 잠잠해 질 때까지 마이크로소프트가 이런 포스트 등을 이용해 언플작업으로 시간을 끌고 있다고 생각한다.
